What is TCM Acupuncture?
Acupuncture involves the careful insertion and manipulation of fine needles into specific points on the body’s surface, including the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscles. These points, linked by 12 main meridians, are believed to conduct Qi—an essential life energy—between the body’s surface and internal organs. By balancing the flow of Qi along these pathways, acupuncture promotes overall health, eases physical and mental stress, and supports a harmonious balance between Yin (parasympathetic nervous system) and Yang (sympathetic nervous system) energies.
